Physicians of “South Beach Rejuvenation” and “LA Health and Rejuvenation” were involved in illegal distribution of steroids

Jeffrey George is the founder of a former celebrated clinic connected with hormone replacement therapy. The clinic was called “South Beach Rejuvenation”. Jeffrew George was accused in illegal sales of anabolic steroids. As it was said by investigators, he began tosell controlled substances through his clinic illegally. But in fact he was involved in illegal activity of pain clinics located in Florida. He distributed steroids over internet.
George and his twin brother Chris were leaders of a pain clinic activity. They earned 40 million dollars due to illegal sales of oxycodone and other analgesics during 2 years. This resulted in their several charges. Jeffrey George faced also a charge of a murder because a client of “South Beach Rejuvenation” had died due to overdosing.
Jeffrey George hid his illegal operation with the help of his clinic “South Beach Rejuvenation”. Anabolic steroids were advertising on the internet and in various magazines related to fitness as a part of treatment conducted by the clinic.
It was not the first arrest of George because of steroids. He was arrested for possession of anabolic steroids with intentions to sell them in 2003. This man was sentenced to 8 months in jail. Later this person was involved in illegal distribution of anabolic steroids, intending to bypass Florida’s laws that allowed clinics to prescribe and sell steroids legally. This person didn’t have any medical education. But he founded the clinic “South Beach Rejuvenation” and employed several doctors that prescribed steroids without any fear. One of his employees was Daniel Hauser. This physician got 5, 000 dollars weekly for prescriptions of steroids for clients of “South Beach Rejuvenation”.
Since steroids were sold over internet and clients lived far from the clinic, they were required to perform some tests in clinics that were located near to them. Then they filled results of tests in the certain blanks and sent to the “South Beach Rejuvenation” per email. Hauser wrote them prescriptions.
A lot of sales consultants of ”South Beach Rejuvenation” took anabolic steroids too. Moreover, they bought large amounts of steroids with prescriptions and sold them on the side. They also advised their clients how to take and administrate together different steroids to achieve more benefits in bodybuilding and sports.
Chris, George’s brother, helped his friend, Chris Hutson, financially to open a clinic to distribute steroids. Thus, “LA Health and Rejuvenation” was opened.
Cynthia Cadet and Robert Meek were two doctors who were hired by Hutson to prescribe anabolic steroids. They received 1, 000 dollars weekly.
The persons that established “South Beach Rejuvenation” and “LA Health and Rejuvenation” and physicians hired by them were indicted on some charges, including illegal sales of anabolic steroids and prescriptions via internet.
