Rampage Jackson confirms that small amount of testosterone may cause obvious effects

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, a mixed martial artist and actor, told about effects of the steroid testosterone in the interview with Gary Alexander of “Fighters Only Magazine”. He talked about his decision to utilize testosterone, about its effects on enhancement of muscle mass, weight of the body and his sexuality. He said these words after his fail at UFC 144 in Japan.
The UFC champion was honestly talking about his decision to seek a health care provider that could recommend him testosterone replacement therapy. He mentioned openly because he thought that testosterone didn’t include in anabolic steroids. Rampage Jackson claimed that steroids were for muscles but testosterone was natural. So, he was mistaken, considering that testosterone isn’t an anabolic steroid.
Actually, use of testosterone replacement therapy in mixed martial arts is a controversial issue. Testosterone is used legally in case of hypogonadism (reduced testosterone production). Thus, mixed martial artists who have this disease can receive a therapeutic use exemption which permits to utilize the steroid testosterone legally.
But the issue that is widely discussed is whether the fighter that utilizes therapeutic dosage of testosterone may obtain unfair advantage during competitions.
The most of sportspersons that have got a therapeutic use exemption for usage of testosterone for therapeutic purposes deny receiving any increase of performance due to testosterone replacement therapy.
As for Jackson, he admitted that testosterone replacement therapy had enhanced his muscle size, speeded his recovery from his injuries and had positive effect on his sexual life. The mixed martial artist noted that he had experienced a knee injury. After he had taken 3 quantities of testosterone, the knee was healed. He added bodyweight and muscle size. He noticed that small measures of the steroid testosterone had produced obvious changes in him. His sexuality was improved essentially; he started to feel as if he had been just 25.
Rampage Jackson demonized steroids for his impossibility to lose weight in order to meet criteria of the 206lb weight class.
Rampage Jackson reports that he doesn’t violate any rule. He administeres testosterone and confirms that it is legally.
