Justin Gatlin is an American sprinter. This sportsperson tested positive for prohibited medicines in 2006 and served a 4-year ban. It was defined that he had used testosterone. Since his 4-year ban is over, this sportsperson was waiting to be accepted back. But it seems that this sprinter doesn’t know the laws related to the return to the world of sports. An athlete that has served a certain ban caused by intake of performance-enhancing products doesn’t return automatically. He\She must admit publicly that it was an immense mistake; he\she has to apologize “with tears in his\her eyes” that he\she has administrated performance-enhancing products.
But this American sportsman desires to do things his way. The American sportsperson confirmed that he had never taken prohibited drugs intentionally. The American athlete confirmed that he had tested positive for steroids because a revengeful masseuse had applied a testosterone cream during a massage. In fact this explanation was taken from a book of Lance Armstrong, a former American cyclist. Justin Gatlin has not changed the Laurence’s excuse at all in about 5 years.
Since this American sprinter didn’t admit using steroids publicly, sports reporters interviewed him many times. He was asked whether he would admit taking banned medications. Once it has been made clear that he had applied banned drugs knowingly. It was during an interview made by a reporter of New York Times. Justin Gatlin noted that he would admit taking anabolic steroids intentionally in exchange for a embrace! Could you imagine it? The reporter told the American athlete that people would hug him more, if he admits. Nevertheless, Gatlin remained “invincible”, asking: “If I say it right now, are you gonna give me a hug?”
Since this American athlete has already the support of the USA Track and Field (USATF), it is beleived that this American sprinter will never admit administrating prohibited medicines. It is not clear how he has received the support because Jill Greer, the spokesperson for the USATF, notices that USATF is not going to support athletes that have ever used steroids knowingly. Such sportspersons must be ignored, according to USATF. The case connected with Justin Gatlin shows that the affirmation of the spokesperson isn’t respected at all.
