The chairman from South Carolina says that steroids turn people to murders

Employees of Oconee County (South Carolia) are going to be tested for anabolic steroids. The County Administrator Scott Moulder said about possible changes of the Oconee County Council related to the list of narcotics. There is a probability that anabolic steroids will be included in this list.
Since steroids began to be widely applied by law enforcement officers in numerous states, Wayne McCall, the chairman of the public safety committee, announced about an essential decision. He pointed out that steroid testing should be performed in Oconee County. The chairman explained why it was decided to test employees for the forbidden products. According to the chairman, anabolic steroids have too negative influence on people. They turn normal persons to mad ones. Wayne McCall compared persons who take anabolic steroids with “Magilla Gorilla” that may become aggressive and kill others. So, Wayne McCall believes that consumers of anabolic steroids are too dangerous persons for society. He says that administration of these banned preparations is an inducing problem around the country. Even law enforcement officers and firefighters utilize these forbidden preparations that lead to mental disorders and violent behavior.
Wayne McCall noticed that several deputies and firefighters were similar to Magilla Gorilla, the character of the 1960 animated series “The Magilla Gorilla”. He noted that such officials might destroy own health and life or even kill other people.
It was the first time when users of anabolic steroids were compared with the cartoon character Magilla Gorilla. Several individuals point out that this comparison is ironical.
However it is believed that steroid testing will benefit, it is important to remember that it will cost too much money from taxpayers funds.
